Over the last few years, the Board and Leadership team have been focusing on how we can serve families more holistically and what we need to do as an agency in the future. After careful evaluation of our current programs and services, we would like Brighton Center to be known as experts in early childhood and a household name within the community for providing young children with a strong educational foundation. We began with the addition of our second location in the Monte Vista area along with an updated vision and strategic direction. This year we have begun our Capital Campaign to raise money for the renovation of our Higgins location and to expand our programs after the facility is complete. This renovation will support our growing organization and services as well as enhance our facility to match all the amazing things that happen within. While working on the redesign of our facility and as we continue to see the need for creating an early educational foundation for preschool children, Brighton Center ECE has decided to transition out of caring for Infants and Toddlers and change our focus to becoming a Premier Preschool Academy. By changing our focus, we can offer our services to more children, provide additional training to our staff, offer additional therapy services, and continue to help children of all abilities have the educational foundation and skills needed to enter into Kindergarten ready for success!
While this shift will happen over the next two years, we have determined that in order to ensure we can support all of our currently enrolled and wait list infant and toddler families, we will no longer be enrolling new enrollments for these two classrooms effective February 5, 2018.
We will be hosting a Town Hall meeting to share the exciting details and renderings of our campus renovation on March 28, 2018 from 4-6pm. We greatly appreciate our families’ support and look forward to what the future has in store for your family and Brighton Center!
