Brighton Center's General COVID-19 Response Includes:
Brighton is following the CDC, national, state and local government authorities for the most current information and recommendations on how to safely operate all programs and services during the COVID-19 pandemic. We acknowledge and value the trust each parent places in us every time they drop off their child at one of our campuses. The health and safety of your children and broader family is our foremost concern as we navigate operating during these times.
Brighton is upgrading our already high standards of cleaning to keep your children safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Both of our facilities (Higgins & Lullwood Campuses) already included the recommendations from the CDC, especially our child care centers but now we will be employing even more daily cleaning protocols, including daily laundering of all soft items, weekly rug cleaning and additional classroom and playground sanitation.
While Brighton’s Therapy Services and Special Education Services continue to be provided online or via phone, the staff that teach at our two childcare centers as well as the children and families enrolled will be required to be screened daily. These screenings will include checking temperatures daily upon arrival, daily health surveys, etc., and are in place to help limit potential transmission and outbreaks.
Brighton’s Preschool Program will be modifying pick up and drop off procedures to minimize the contact families have with each other and Brighton teachers in order to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19. Families will drop off children in a designated area and will not be allowed to enter the classroom. Parents and teachers will be required to wear a mask during these times as well.
