Brighton Center Update: Brighton is back in business and has exciting updates!
Brighton Center excitedly announces that ALL programs and services for children with delays and disabilities are back up and running! Both of Brighton’s Preschool Centers opened up on Monday, May 18th. We performed these openings with modifications to provide an even safer and more secure environment for our children. Brighton’s Therapy Services have been operating since mid-April via Telehealth and the response has been overwhelmingly positive! Our Special Education Advocacy Team has been working hard since the beginning of April to ensure that parents and children are communicating with their schools to ensure that the services and resources that children in Special Education need are being received.
While navigating our new environment has been challenging, our donors’ support continues to encourage us. Furthermore, our staff continues to work relentlessly, and the kids that we serve continue to amaze us with their resiliency, their grit and their effort to be the best they can be. We are beyond thankful that we have the opportunity to continue serving children in our community.

A Big Thanks to all Supported the VIVA Brighton Campaign
When TASTE 2019 was cancelled due to COVID-19, Brighton reached out to those who had purchased tickets or partnerships. We asked all of them to consider donating those funds directly to the organization. Additionally, we appealed to the entire community for their support of a campaign called VIVA Brighton. The VIVA Brighton Campaign raised over $80,000 in ticket donations, partner donations and new donations. While it doesn’t cover the entire loss of not hosting TASTE of the Northside, Brighton’s largest fundraiser, it makes a huge dent in the overall deficit Brighton is facing in 2020 due to COVID-19. To everyone who donated and continues to support Brighton, THANK YOU!
There Is Still Time To Support the VIVA Brighton Campaign.
