dedicationsignOn September 1st at 10am, Brighton Center hosted an official dedication ceremony honoring the generous donors to the Capital Campaign.  We had over fourty people in attendance to enjoy the sign unveiling, food, drinks, and take tours of the Center.

When Brighton Center began its Capital Campaign in October of 2008, the Board of Directors and Staff heard over and over that it was horrible timing. There was no doubt about the declining state of the economy, but in the end, the timing proved perfect for Brighton.  Throughout the process of the Capital Campaign, it has become truly evident that, even in tough times, Brighton Center’s supporters are among the most generous and loyal in the community!

As of March 25, 2010, the full amount of $1,121,000 has been donated, thus allowing Brighton Center to purchase the Higgins Road location and make some necessary repairs. The building purchase will generate a savings of $156,000 a year that was previously used for rent payments to be reinvested into our programs. With the help of these generous organizations and individuals, Brighton Center is solidifying a future of serving the children of San Antonio.

Thank you for your continued support of Brighton Center.
