 What is Quarters for Kids?
Quarters for Kids was started in 2010 to raise scholarships for low-income families who have children with disaibilties so that their child can receive a quality early childhood education in Bright Beginnings. In its inaugural year, Quarters for Kids raised more than $4,800 and provided scholarships to six children in need. This year we hope to exceed the $5,000 mark and can with your help! Times are tough for families around the country and while it may not seem like much - the small change you collect will add up to a BIG difference in the lives of children with disabilities!
How Can I Support Quarters for Kids?
There are a few easy ways to support Quarters for Kids! You can:
1) Pick up a coin bank at Brighton Center and save your change between May 7th and August 6th.
2) Attend any or all of our Quarters for Kids events in May, June, July and August.
3) Become a Quarters for Kids Donation Location and ask your co-workers to join the cause. For more information on becoming a Donation Location, please contact the Development Department at

May 7th:
|
Official Kick Off at Brighton Center' Tot Trot and Family Festival from 10:30am-1:00pm. Stop in for the fun and pick up a bank!

May 7th - August 6th:
|
Eat at Orderup - Visit any of the three San Antonio Orderup locations anytime and they'll donate 15% back to Brighton Center. All you have to do is write Brighton Center on the back of your receipt and place it in the Speakup box at the register.

Orderup Fundraising Night - Join us from 5-8pm for dinner and fun at the Orderup location in Stone Ridge (281 & Evans Road) and 15% of your total will be donated back to Brighton Center and the Quarters for Kids campaign. Download the flyer here!

July 1st - July 30th:

Midas CHANGE Drive - Visit the Midas locations at 3819 Fredericksburg Road or 6659 San Pedro for an oil change and $5 will be donated to Brighton's Quarters for Kids campaign.

Taco Cabana Fundraising Night - Join us from 5-8pm at the Taco Cabana at Blanco & 1604 for dinner and they will donate a portion of your bill back to Brighton Center and the Quarters for Kids Campaign! We will also be hosting a raffle that evening so come and join in the fun. More details coming soon!
