Birdies for Charity
 Birdies for Charity® is a fundraising program designed by Golf San Antonio to give participating organizations the opportunity to generate contributions through the Valero Texas Open. Birdies for Charity is a no-cost program that gives 100% of the funds raised back to the participating organization. Birdies for Charity is like a walk-a-thon, but instead of donating per mile, participants make a pledge for every birdie made at the Valero Texas Open. Last year, 1,954 birdies were made, so a pledge of $0.01 yielded a donation of $19.54.
Donors also have the ability to make a one-time donation and flexibility to pay in advance or be billed after the tournament. Donations are accepted from anywhere around the world and are tax deductible.
Chip In for Schools
 Chip In for Schools is a fundraising program initiated by Golf San Antonio to help participating schools to earn money for their school programs by selling advanced tickets to the Valero Texas Open.
Participating schools sell discounted Good Any Day general admission tickets to the Valero Texas Open. The tickets are sold at $15 each, which is a great savings from $25 at the gate. And the best part is that the school gets to keep 100% of the proceeds they earned.
