logo-palsOverview

The Parent Alliance for Learning and Support program provides classroom and hands-on training to parents of children with disabilities, young adults with disabilities and community members in the areas of self, IDEA, and general advocacy. All trainings for parents of children with disabilities (age's birth to 22) and young adults (ages 15-22) with disabilities are provided with curriculums which allow a hands-on learning environment. The training provided through the PALS Program works to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities by providing them a voice until their own voice can be heard.

Understanding the rights of children protected under IDEA is the first step in becoming a successful advocate. Our professional trainers are experiences advocates and are actively involved in assisting parents and professionals at ARD meetings or with other information concerning children's rights.
