Bright Beginnings
Program Philosophy
At Bright Beginnings we believe in the acceptance of all children, empowering them to achieve their individual potential. Bright Beginnings provides children with and without disabilities with and inclusive environment where they can learn, not only through social interactions with peers, but in a supportive, nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment based on their age and individual developmental needs. At Bright Beginnings we believe children learn best through play. Because of this, we offer our children a developmentally appropriate emergent curriculum designed to meet the needs and interests of each individual child based on his/her developmental level. This curriculum provides opportunities to enhance all areas of children’s development such as cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical, and creativity through an array of positive learning experiences in an educational, hands-on learning environment.

 Developmentally Appropriate Activities
As a provider under the Child and Adult Care Food Program, our breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks all meet the nutritional guidelines set by the federal government. Our meals are served family style which provides children the opportunity to serve themselves. Mealtime provides an environment where children can practice social skills and enhance communication (such as taking turns, passing food to others, saying please and thank you). Teachers also talk with the children about their foods and proper nutrition.
 Experienced and Trained Teachers
We provide training above state mandated guidelines that include topics such as classroom management, child development, sensory integration and more which provide knowledge of the most up-to-date strategies in supporting children with and without disabilities. We are proud to have teachers who have received various levels of certification and degrees including Bachelor Degree, Child Development Associates Degree, Child Development Associate Certification and current Teaching Certification.
