Who is the Queen of the Vine?
Each year, the community nominates women who have a heart for children’s issues to become Brighton’s Queen of the Vine. After nomination, the women are briefed and sent out to get votes. Each vote is $1 each and the woman with the most votes is crowned Queen of the Vine every March. The Queen represents the children of Brighton at numerous Fiesta events and by heightening awareness in the public and the media. The Queen of the Vine works hard to ensure that every family and every child who may need services knows that Brighton is here to help.
Every Queen has her Ball and for the Queen of the Vine it is “Taste of the Northside”, April 23rd at Canyon Springs Golf Club. This official Fiesta Event is to benefit the children of Brighton and their families. Enjoy wines, foods, music and a silent auction under the beautiful Texas stars.
